Networking

Zontians find role models, mentors and like-minded professionals in their Zonta clubs and through international contacts and meetings.

Building leadership skills
Zonta members organize events, chair committees and facilitate meetings. Zonta builds leaders.

Zontians share ideas across cultures and continents, through visits and conversation, in print and in person.

Membership Responsibilities

  • Regularly attend business meetings and relevant committee meetings.
  • Pay all local and international dues.
  • Be familiar with club bylaws and parliamentary procedure.
  • Participate actively in service projects, meetings & deliberations and accept majority decisions.
  • Accept leadership roles and give time, talent and enthusiasm to the organization.
  • Identify and suggest prospective new members.
  • Attend area meetings/workshops, district conferences and international conventions, if possible.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Executives and professionals in decision-making positions willing to support and implement the Mission of Zonta International.
  • Perspective members should be people who are of good character and with a positive business reputation.

Becoming A Member
MEMBERSHIP IN ZONTA CARRIES HONOR, DISTINCTION, AND RESPONSIBILITY, AND IS BY CLUB INVITATION ONLY.

Perspective membership forms are to be properly completed and signed by one classified member and presented to the Membership Committee for review. After the Board of Directors has approved the prospective member, it is submitted in writing to the club membership. After receiving approval by the club membership, the Membership Chairperson notifies the sponsor of the favorable action, and a letter extends the invitation to membership.
